I am an Associate Editor at Mathematical Reviews, in Ann Arbor. I supervise our coverage of mathematical logic and theoretical computer science. My webpage at the University of Michigan is here.

I received my PhD from UC Berkeley in 2003 under John Steel and Hugh Woodin. You can find a very nice diagram with my Academic Genealogy here, from The Mathematics Genealogy Project. (I got a huge poster with this diagram as a gift on Father’s day, 2010.)
I spent a couple of years at the Kurt Gödel Research Center in Vienna from 2003 to 2005, and from Fall 2005 until Spring 2008 was the Harry Bateman Research Instructor at Caltech.
I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Boise State University from 2008 to 2012, and an Associate Professor from 2012 to 2016. I was on leave during the academic year 2015-2016, when I began my association with Mathematical Reviews.
Information on my research and (past) teaching is hosted on this blog.
